Anti roll bar question?

Postby Richie L » Sun, 14 Feb 2010 7:03 +0000

I am on a suspension quest this weekend and I noticed today that my rear anti roll bar is not centered..ie the lhs droplink is more vertical than the rhs.I was able to move it by gently tapping with a hammer and my question is should I be able to do this?Do the bushings and droplinks not normally keep the bar from moving in this lateral direction?Or do I have knackered bushings as there is quite a bit of lean from the rear anyway.Any thoughts please?

chances are Richie the suspension has settled on one side more than the other........rhs???? and also there is probably more wear in the lhs susp and roll bar bushings/drop links due to our roads . I think our one is the same. If that is the case you may be well advised to get the poly bushes before you go getting the re-align done. Try energy suspension in the states for a quote. The young lad got a full set for his Civic Coupe over and all for 150e and the quality is excellent. I will be looking into getting a set also as im gonna put a set of fully adj shocks on her soon.Let us know if you do try them.
