Tow Bar

Postby Cloggy » Wed, 27 Aug 2008 9:50 +0000

I saw one of us has a tow bar at the back of his 5. Can't remember who.
Can anyone give me some tips on where to get on?
I prefer one which can easily be mounted and dismounted.

Frank has the tow bar on his car for a bike rack.
He is not on the site you would have to get him on the yahoo group

Oh Man, that is sooo cool. I think I will make one myself... I'm also a fanatic windsurfer and this enables me to build something for all the gear, bring the 5 and have a overnight stay...
Now still have to find that towbar thinghy.

Here you go

http://www.miw.ie/ABOUT_US/about_us/Navigation.html

Not so sure now if they actually produce one-offs, but might be worth a try

Here's another link, but no listing for an mx5

hi,

MIW (mcCabes will not make you one for an MX5, they'd rather make one for a hilux!

I saw one on a US miata website...........i'll see if i can drag it up.
The little tear drop caravan is cool, retro cool. Like on the runs, you could bring it along and leave it at someones house during the day and do the run avoiding hotels and B&B's etc- fantastic yoke!
