Re: Anyone tried this coilover suspension yet?cool!
Found an 89 page thread on them on another forum, they were v.positive about them.
Re: Anyone tried this coilover suspension yet?Hmmm. Great price and my shocks are past their sell by date...
Re: Anyone tried this coilover suspension yet?Excuse my ignorance chaps - but how long would you expect to get out of a set of shocks - I've noticed that my car is a bit jittery over roads that are slightly bumpy. If I press down on each corner it just goes back up - no continuous up and down.
If I replace them (on my 10AE with Bilsteins) will it be a big job and is there anything I else I should consider replacing at the same time ? Cheers Spideog
Re: Anyone tried this coilover suspension yet?Spideog, think you can have the Bilsteins revalved/rebuilt.. don't know how much it costs or where I'm afraid..
Replacing the shocks and springs is lots easier than some of the jobs you've attempted in the past Apart from the usual jacking up/jack stands/wheel removal stuff. Re: Anyone tried this coilover suspension yet? Thanks Steve - maybe a job for a tech day - the rears look easy enough
