Re: Cat by pass/ sensor wires......The after-cat sensor ?
Remove the sensor and tape the wires up away from harm, it's not needed any more. It's a small world after all. It's a small, small world
Re: Cat by pass/ sensor wires......Thanks Frank, was wondering what that sensor is for if its not needed???

Re: Cat by pass/ sensor wires......It's like a fuse - when the cat overheats, the sensor melts and that causes a lamp to light up on the dash. Removing the sensor leaves the circuit open, and light extinguished. It's just a lamp too, not connected to the ECU (on MK1s)

Re: Cat by pass/ sensor wires......Hmm.. so what could the spare wiring + lamp be used for.. ?
Low fuel, fog light, "lights on", alarm warning light, knock sensor.. ? Hmm.. wonder if you could get the alarm warning led in there.. Aha!
Re: Cat by pass/ sensor wires......Thanks lads, yeah my mind boggles with all the uses it may serve.
