Cat by pass/ sensor wires......

Fitted a CAT bypass pipe yesterday amd wondering what to do with the sensor wire????????

The after-cat sensor ?
Remove the sensor and tape the wires up away from harm, it's not needed any more.

It's like a fuse - when the cat overheats, the sensor melts and that causes a lamp to light up on the dash. Removing the sensor leaves the circuit open, and light extinguished. It's just a lamp too, not connected to the ECU (on MK1s)

Hmm.. so what could the spare wiring + lamp be used for.. ?
Low fuel, fog light, "lights on", alarm warning light, knock sensor.. ?

Hmm.. wonder if you could get the alarm warning led in there..
