Hi,

Does anyone know if it's possible to fit a mk1 hardtop oto a mk2.5 body?

I have heard it's possible, but requires a bit of fiddling to make the heated rear window work.

I am looking to buy a hardtop and the only one I can find in Ireland is a mk1

Yes it will fit no problem but may need the Frankenstein bolts and the side clamps and the wiring for heated window if different but we have all ther bits you need 086 8226506
