Made an attempt at refurbishing my wheels

After getting my NB this summer I decided to have a go at restoring the wheels myself. The wheels had some kerbing damage, and the old paint had worn off. Very happy with the results after filling the damage, sanding, painting and priming.

Clear lacquer may help?

Oh yeah, forgot to mention there's 3-4 layers of clear coat on them now too.

Old thread but I'm curious if you used some sort of adhesion promoter before painting them.

After sanding/cleaning I've just given them a wipe with a brillo pad, then primer.
