Mk1 1.6 ecu

Looking to find out if this ecu is from the 115bhp 1.6 mk1 or the 90 hp mk1. Code is b6gp 18 881b .
any help apeiciated as google isnt reli helping. Thanks james

Not sure exactly but most 1.6 have B63H ecu for 1.6 .Presume then its 1.8 but there are about 10 different ones and then some with /without immobilisers also.I may be wrong but does 1.6 not have 2 plug in connectors and 1.8 have 3 ? I have several asst ecu,s here but none with that number

Im not sure how many plugs are on it ill have a check and its deffinitly 1.6 as the intake manifold is different to 1.8

Might be UK type with immobiliser built in

Ill have a look but didnt think so car is on a switch to start. Also he says car is low on power so i was thinking its the later 90 hp engine

Key could be strapped on to aerial/key reader under dash ( bypassed basically) and not visible at dash.90bhp could well be UK car.Did you advance the timing at cas to see if that helps
