Headrest Speakers..

Postby MollyMX5 » Fri, 19 Nov 2010 11:47 +0000

I have a roadster mk1. I need new speakers and I live in the Enniscorthy/ Wexford area. Where can I go, get new speakers installed and drive away happy?... Not having much luck. Everywhere I go I get told "oh its two speakers in each headrest" we don't have them. And although I have my car under wraps for the winter I want it to be humming to me for next year. thanks

Buy them at mx5 parts or autolinks and get someone to fit them with you on a tech day. Very easy job.

Are the JVC ones okay to buy, two for each headrest? Just want to make sure!

Yep.... I've bought the JVC's too Mol... just can't get anyone to fit them. Lads? anyone fancy doing two cars? Maybe when the weather gets warm again? I don't mind travelling to Wexford for a weekend. :P
Climbed Elbrus, Island Peak, Kilimanjaro, Elgon, Everest BC, Mulhacen, Elgon, Kayaked the Liffey to the Nile, swam the Liffey, the Lee & packed ten triathlons into a year... catch me blogging on: http://www.teenagates.com

I think most 4 inch speakers will fit (some might just need their corners clipped)
