Leather interior..............who's dunnit ?

Postby galwaytt » Fri, 25 Jun 2010 1:09 +0000

Anyone tried these, or similar ? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/MAZDA-MX5-EUNOS-ROADSTER-HANDMADE-LEATHER-SEAT-COVERS-/190407773638?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item2c55300dc6 ?

SO wants leather in the car as it goes back together, so don't want awful seats that look like seat covers.........have got a price have them professionally trimmed, at €450 - 500 the pair........

I did indeed do it, not sure are they the same ones I have but look simalar. Easy enough job to do just takes a little time as there is something like 30 hog rings on each seat. Put them back together with small cable ties. The fit is perfect and look like stock seats, small amount of wear on drivers bolster but other than that they are holding up well even after a couple of years on a daily driver

was talking to a guy from ni at the spring gathering in belfast and he had black covers in a white car. they looked great and he said they were easy enough to fit with a little patience because of the rings ash mentioned
