the car wont have a relay

you need an la10 relay - same as the relay for the horn.

the relay plugs into a connector on the rear panel of the boot , near the boot lock mechanism.
the fuse for the wiring will be near the aerial in the boot. the fuse holder will be there but you will probably have to add a 10amp fuse to the holder.

its a 10 min job at most

Thanks charged_rs, I hope its this simple. So all the witing should be there, just need the relay and the fuse.... BTW its not an electric aerial, if that makes a difference

How do I wire up the relay? should the wires be there, just need to connect them up? sorry if these are stupid questions, dont know anythign about this :)

OK, just checked. their is a black connection at the boot lock mechanism, is this where the relay connects to?

Had a look around the battery and find no fuse box ! Is their anywhere else it could be?

yes , yellow and black connector is where the la10 relay plugs into

the black connector between the battery and aerial looks like where the fuse box plugs onto
the white 4 pin plug is for an electric aerial.

looks like you need the fusebox bit and an la10 relay , and a hrw switch - the wiring for the switch should be behind one of the blanks to the right of your steering wheel.

all sorted
