racing/bucket seatsBecame the owner of a 92 eunos recently. absolutely love it. I was thinking about getting meself new seats for it so that I sit lower in the car, do racing seats lower the seating position at all?
Re: racing/bucket seatsyou can cut foam out of the seat to lower it.. the standard ones i mean. there's loadsa walkthroughs on it if you google search it. its supposed to be a fairly handy job
Re: racing/bucket seatsI have sparco sprints bolted to standard runners lowered me
enough for a nicer seating position but after christmass im going to buy brackets to lower them even more
Re: racing/bucket seatsah cool. Has anyone here done it? Is there something solid at the bottom so it doesn't sag more?
Re: racing/bucket seats
hmm, sounds tempting. How much do they lower on standard runners?
Re: racing/bucket seatsWe have 2 blue and black Reactive seats but you need to buy or make suitable rails as these were fitted to Honda originally. Not a big problem to make up apparently
Re: racing/bucket seatsMine
Sparco Sprint JB Fabrication Bracket I am 6'4 and i could use 1/1.5cm more head room i guess there is max 1cm tell the seat hits the floor with the JB Fabrication bracket Anything other than a sprint is questionable
Re: racing/bucket seatsHow awkward is it getting in and out with that seat?
Re: racing/bucket seatsI have a sprint in mine too. Its not that hard getting in/out and it makes a big difference to the driving fun
