Try Leo Whelan 086 4086923. It's actually his dad does the upholstery repairs, Leo does Alloy Wheel repairs. They are bases along Carrrs Hill, the old route to Carrigaline out of Douglas. paulc

I tried Michael o Sullivan Glanmire and he was a reasonable 70 euro to repair the Bolster...I want a more fully refurbished job so im gonna try Cis Styling in Limerick and see what they are like...Any one have any experience of sealing with them?

Hello
Ive used a gliptone leather recolouring kit before on my mk1 ,worked well and saved me getting new leather .
http://www.liquidleather.com/re-colouring.htm
If i remember correctly it was all about really cleaning the leather first then adding light coats of dye and then conditioning
It all comes in a kit to suit your leather colour

I was wondering if it works on the dash cushion too? I assume it does. I've a tan interior and like all of them the dash cushion has badly faded to some strange unmatching colour. I wonder if anyone has ever treated it and gotten it back to its original colour which matched the seats?

I assume its not leather but pvc ,I wonder if it can be painted with a flexible paint to the same colour, a good car paint supplier could be a good place to start .
I know its far away from you but b&c paints in Galway city is just such a supplier ,their in the ballybrit industrial estate .
There must be good ones in Cork as well, Nico or Fergus or Paul c would be good men to ask
Would Robert in Dublin have any good clean ones I wonder ,worth a call /pm
Best of luck with it
Brian
