faded footwell mats

Postby Merlot man » Tue, 25 Mar 2014 10:25 +0000

Hello all
I got two footwell mats from Robert last week for free! for my 10 ae mk2
They are in very good condition ie not worn at all but they seem to me and Robert to be faded.
1 Does anyone know what colour they should be, we both assumed blue like the cars carpets .At the minute they are more like a light sky blue and pale green.
2 Does anyone know if and where they can be dyed to the correct colour.

Im told that without this sorted the car just wont run!!!
Thanks in advance,
Brian

Carpets can be dyed so why not mats ....The good car valeters usually do dyeing also
