Repair fabric seat tear or seat covers or ... 08 NC

I have a black NC 08 MX. The drivers side seat has a tear in the fabric on the side, worn/torn from getting in/out.
Wondering what others hear have done to resolve:
1. Repair the Fabric? How? Some sort of kit? Sew with strong thread??
2. Seat covers. Where to buy?
3. New after market seats ..
Thoughts / advice please
