Cracked rain rail, or blocked drainholes, water seeps along parcel shelf, goes down along the wall behind the seats and gathers on the floor/footwell....?? Had this problem with my first mx5....

Had the same problem on mine..

Was coming in through the door near the quarter light, i changed the seal that goes around the windscreen and down the door pillars, seems to be working.
Carpet was soaking when i noticed it and had heard about the ECU being damaged, luckily everything seems fine

Looks like i still have a leak.

Carpet was still getting wet. Turns out that water is seeping through the bottom of the glass window, wetting the shelf carpet and ending up in the passenger footwell.
I'm hoping that i can reseal the beading between the glass and the mohair..

Anybody had similar??

I had similar on mine but ultimately I couldn't see a way to repair it in such a way that it would be durable.

The bottom of the window is put under a lot of stress when the hood is lowered, particularly if care isn't taken when doing so.

Mine had stretched and become loose and the glass had started to sag out of the bottom. Managed to waterproof it using duct tape for a short while, but I ended up buying a new hood and replacing it myself last weekend.

If you go down that road, let me know as I can probably save you some time with what I learned from the process.
