ive a 1.8 i get the ticking on start up, i turn the engine off and restart ,ticking gone works every time

Oil pressure s!ituation 'possibly as before incorrect oil filter as filter is on its side so oil drains out overnight etc.Get genuine mazda filter should help.Also we have sold mk2 lifters ( non hydraulic) springloaded type for replacment and suitable for turbo conversion also.
