Will an fc rx7 diff fit a 1.6 na?

Hi, new here, just bought a 91 mx5, or Eunos!, think its the v-special? Not really up to date on the mx5 models!
But anyway, does anyone have any insight into fitting an fc rx7 non-turbo diff into a 1.6 na?
Is it possible?
Any input appreciated!

Yes its possible, you'll need to get a 1.8 diff for its casing, 1.8 driveshaft & halfshafts, best do the axle seals + new axle nuts.
Unless you have the RX7 diff lying about, I'd just put in a 1.8 diff, easy to do and its just about bulletproof.

The only reason i was asking is because a friend has an rx7 1.5 way, but i'm not really that interested if its not a straight bolt in job.
