Wheel Bearing question

Guys, I have a drone coming from the rear LHS wheel for some time now( about 2 years to be more honest). I'm pretty sure that it's a bearing problem. Did a quick check and couldn't feel any play in the wheel, but then I'm no expert!!
Is there adjustment on the bearing or does it need to be replaced?? I have a friend who is a mechanic and he asked me that question, to which I don't have the answer, so over to those who know!!

It's a mk1 1.6 pink special

John, there is a good section in your Rods Miata book 9;18 . Says .05mm limit but if its noisy, change it. Easy job to do and bearings are not too dear.

Hey John,

Couple of things to try :
have a passenger listen and see where they think its coming from.. might just be your diff...
swop your front wheel with your rear wheel and see if the noise moves with it,
you could try tightening your hubnut before replacing the bearing, might just need a slight turn (it was for me).
