Drained Battery?

Postby CashelMX5 » Fri, 11 Jun 2010 12:58 +0000

Car was laid up for a week and when I went to start it the battery was compltely flat. However, it started on jump leads and is going since. Might it be possible that something is draining it and, if so, how does one locate the problem?

The alarm will do this to mine but takes a little more than a week. I do have quite a new battery. I think one of the best answers is a solar panel.

something like this- [link2]http://cgi.ebay.ie/Solar-Power-Panel-Prevents-Dead-Batteries-Brand-New-/230486070617?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_Campervan_Caravan_Accessories&hash=item35aa0a5559[/link2]
