+1 for Magnatec 10w, been using it since 1996 in the 1.8
Oil changes every 3000 miles
Turbo went on at 71,000 miles (not km) and now at 150k the engine is as sweet as a nut, revs freely, has perfect emissions. No smoke or coolant usage.

I tried Mobil-1 at about 40k but got leaks from the CAS, so switched back to good ol' Magnatec

yeah its very quiet no pssssst, you can here the click click of the valve working on part throttle boost.
its a forge closed loop valve, this one here.
