Clutch shudder

Anyone experience clutch shudder in mk 2

I did in a mk1, it was the release bearing as far as I remember.

Couple of things to check before you go removing the gearbox, check your heater hoses/cam cover gasket/cam angle sensor aren't leaking down onto the bell housing, then I'd bleed the clutch line and see how things are then.

Yep.. what Steve said. I bled my clutch and it sorted it.

Try advise above first but if your driving it hard /wheelspins etc the springs in the centre of the clutch disc can be loose/slack and cause shudder when releasing clutch.But take easy route first ie bleeding etc
