Help I need a new brain!!

Postby Fla » Sat, 13 Nov 2010 11:33 +0000

Hi guys,

Well my five is on a trailor waiting its turn to go into the garage. We have to decide if its worth spending money on her. Last time I tried to start it it refused. We reckon its the ECU. So Im throwing it out there does anyone have a spare ECU I could borrow to try and start her to see is it worth buying one??? Shes a 1.6 manual 1992...

I really want her back for christmas...!

ive a manual for a 1.6 with all the checks to test every component if you want. Check all the connections on the ecu as apparently, this can be the problem. Clean them and refit.
