An Aunt of Mairead's had a car advertised on donedeal last week, a guy arrived this weekend to have a look, wearing vw overalls, really looked the part as a mechanic, asked to listen to the engine, started the car up..and f*cked off with it, never to be seen again....

Something similar happened in a garage in Dublin recently. A person arrived at the garage to have their car serviced. Met by a "mechanic" outside who took the keys off them to bring the car into the workshop and disappeared with the car
