M50 E flow stories

Postby Ivan » Fri, 21 Nov 2008 10:21 +0000

I've heard no end of stories about the eflow.
So i decided not to bother using it.
Then the other day i got a letter from them saying they would no
longer charge me as they found out i had a tag. But i don't
have a tag and never did.

Anyone else have hassles with them?

For those out side dublin who think it does not apply to them.
Don't panic it will be heading your way soon.

I had to go up to NI one day there a few months back. I went via the m50 on the way up and on the way back.
When i got home that very evening, i logged on to the eflow website, puched in my reg no, and paid my €6 tolls.

Then a month later, i got 2 letters stating that i had'nt paid  .
I rang them in the call centre and they asked me to prove it that i'd paid?!?!
I said - "WTF" to them, "are you calling me a liar you shower of muppets"?
I continued, "you get it sorted - and send me a letter stating its all resolved or else". "I'm not doing your job for you" - i blasted and then hopped the phone off the wall....ARRRRGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH.......................i hate them.

Anyways, i got a letter saying it was an error and that the matter was resolved

Feck sakes, its a mess.

I got loads of letters asking me to pay, but I have a tag.
Then I got a letter to say ignore all the other letters, it'll be resolved soon.

I don't mind though, it's saving at least an hour a day with the e-flow system

My mother-in-law who only drives to the local shops & has prob never driven on a motorway in her life got a bill for the M50 toll! I haven't heard how the story turned out, yet.

Useless gits.
No more Mk1, now driving an '08 Mk3. Still fun!

How is the traffic flow on the M50 now that the barriers are gone?

I hear last night it was fun Northbound + part of the M4 was closed.. ouch.

well i came back form the southside at 5pm on a thursday
and got held up from firhouse all the way. So nothing has changed.
But i think its' down to the road works on the north part.
See how it is when they are finished.

I think the eflow is worse than the toll much perfer to q up and pay the toll.
Now you get 3 bits of paper telling you to pay, when you have.
