Removed passenger door fly window/support and weather strips for a bit of TLC.
The passenger electric window wasn't working, checked the wiring and while recrimping I managed to pull the power wire out of the actual motor! Gah...
Now investigating where I should connect the new power wire...

Last week did a bit of spring clean. Changed the roof and cleaned all drain channels , rubbers etc. Found a bucket load of water left side in the boot. Car was hit and who was repairing it didn't seal the piece of panel that holds taillight properly. A bit of silicone sorted that out. Spotted that car hasn't got bilsteins as supposed to so a call to almighty Robert helped to deal with that and new/not new bilsteins coming to the rescue(will be looking at upgrade springs soon) . De-tangoed headlights. Changed gearbox/diff oil, brake fluid. Drivers side seat foamectomy. Hopefully will receive clutch slave cylinder and gear shifter dust boot today so that will be fixed. After all that tax/insurance good wash/wax and ill be good to go. Can't wait to get back on the road!

swopped out my duff pass window assembly for one from Robert (thanks again),

Its still laboring quite a bit and only going up using the switch while pulling hard on the glass (unless I swopped the wires round, then it would only go down ;-) ).

So, took out the switch

Unscrewed the bottom and popped off the cover + the switches

popped off the switch slide cover

Aha

Scraped + sanded all the black from the contacts and reassembled. Need to wire up the window motor tomorrow before I give it a go.

Window switch back working, the motor is good but needed to swop the assemblies around to get the glass going up and down.

Also painted some stuff :

rear lights were faded/cloudy and annoying me...
Decided to shave/sand off the lettering and polish them up.

Sanding lettering off :

Sanded with 500, 1500 and 2000 grit:

Did the same last year. They come up realy well. Had to get the airline to clean out the dirty water that gets stuck between the reflector and reverse light incase your having the same problem.

Looks really good! Was wondering if anyone knows where could I source a red tint for lights. Preferred if I could just go and buy instead of ebaying. Anybody came across?
