Hopefully an hour. Have to look at these small bulbs for the buttons and see if I have the correct ones for it. Can do the others no problem though.

Sorry bout delay Andy. Heres a few pics. Ac button is one size and the switches are smaller again. They are a cap less bulb with wires fed through the plastic holders. 20140513_153229.jpg 20140513_153317.jpg 20140513_153319.jpg 20140513_153425.jpg 20140513_153447.jpg Edit. Hi John Thanks for that. I'll have pics soon. I secured a clean G Ltd. it's a hop in and drive job so I'll def see ye all on the next run. To keep in with the vibe of this thread and so I don't get in trouble. I've ripped my kosie rims off the old five for a full refurb. Going to send them to Dublin for an acid dip and respray.

Well, after looking at it sitting in the yard for too long, I've started stripping down one of the cars for track use..job list..remove air-con, replace belts, replace all fluids, also gonna replace the thermostat while I'm at it. Looks like one of the front shocks is leaking too, so that has to go...the nose is seriously faded ( the car's red, or PINK, as was my first car..long story ) and I have a replacement, but wondering is it worth the hassle to replace it if it's only gonna be used for the track..may be a better idea to keep the replacement in case I ever manage to stick the car in a bank in mondello...Might get away with a few rattle cans of black on the nose..whaddya think lads?? The target is the June bank holiday track day in 2 1/2 weeks time!!..watch this space...

Hey Steve, I didn't see any on ebay that caught my eye. Did I miss a good one? I secured one on done deal. Should be a good solid car and has a couple of nice bits being a G-Ltd.

AAGGHH..put the engine back together following the aircon removal, new thermostat, heater hose replacement , new belts, K&n BIG air filter etc , and there seems to be a leak from the heater matrix..I suspect I may have knocked out the shape of the inlet pipe so it's not sealing..loads of water now in the footwell on the passenger side!!(grommet to wall is worn, so the liquid made it's way into cabin) Deep breath..mug of coffee..walk away and do something else for a few hours!!

image.jpg image.jpg Today I started removing the audio out of the old five in prep for the new one arriving next week. I'm dreading the stereo install but once I find a manual ill get through it eventually. I removed and cleaned down the speaker grills only to be greeted by damage on the speakers themselves. As you'll see from the picture the connectors are after getting corroded from the car being parked up. The speakers are working perfect. Anyone got any suggestions of a fix? I presume a direct solder onto the wire would do fine?? Also I can't seem to upload my pictures like other so apologies for the way they are uploading.
