Ballysimon Rd. next to AutoGlass. While we're on topic..I found myself using them a good bit latey. They seem to have all the stuff that others don't or it's hard to find. The problem is if you need one self torquing nut don't go there...they sell boxes of them.

so with the rear driver's side caliper replaced, the front passenger side is giving trouble. It didn't seem to be gripping the disk. I've taken the caliper off and had a look, the piston looks perfect when I pull back the protective boot, so its not rusted there. I put a piece of wood in the caliper and had someone step on the brake, the piston is definitely moving easily enough so that doesn't seem to be the problem. Any ideas?
Might just take it off and dismantle/reassemble (and try not to snap a bleed screw this time).

First thing comes to mind greasy pads, disk. Are pads contacting in full surface? If you say piston moving freely and isn't the problem then could be trapped air?

Passed the nct today ,happy days ,roll on the summer!
Both my front big brake calipers are sticking steve so must look at them ,either strip down and rebuild or get new ones , brake parts uk seems to have a caliper for£ 50 each which seems like good value, does anyone know if these are new or simply rebuilt ?

Most of them are rebuild, Brian. If they'd be new the price would reflect that! Congratulations on your nct! Should meet up soon and take them for coastal drive!

My rear One came from them. Couldn't tell if it was rebuilt or not, looks new.
I sprayed the bleed valve a couple of days ago, today I broke out the propane, heated it and cooled it a couple if times and out it came. Just waiting on my assistant to get back and ill bleed it.
