NCT dude rocks out after testing the car "it's in great condition, perfect, all the lads came over for a look" , which explains why the car was in there for forty feckin mins!!!! Then came the but.... "but it hasn't passed, there's corrosion inboard of the passenger sill".
Its the side I replaced not so long ago, it's a small hole, just hoping it's where old met new.

Finger tip can cover it.

......they should look at any car of similar age in England !!!

It is a write off I'm afraid, Steve.. All the lads came over to look at it.. No wonder you're advised to book your test 3 months in advance! That should've been an advisory I think. Strangely, it's the one that been recently replaced..

I'm glad he pointed it out, but have a feeling it wouldn't have been mentioned if the exhaust was hanging off or I'd one headlight.

Mine passed the NCT yesterday after the major surgery it needed to fix that rust hole :-)
