Aye, that's the VIP treatment! :D

Shunt aside, it was a fantastic day out. I really got to learn loads about car control, balancing the car, anticipating how the car reacts to inputs, finding its limits...

BTW, does anyone know where I'd find a guide to front bumper removal? :D

Surely the workshop manuals would have that. I have the Rod's one, could photocopy and snail-mail the relevant pages if you wish.
There's probably online instructions somewhere too but don't ask me where!

Installed a 55w Bi Xenon 4300k HID kit (good ol' Santa) and removed the charcoal cannister (needed the room for the HID ballast ;-) )

about to tackle new headrest speakers myself tomorrow. fitted and wired new white side markers today but now need to get little white indicator lights for wings as orange ones look out of place now. new spots fitted also and will be wired over next few days. new magnecor leads and floor mats also fitted. boot rack also delivered and will fit as needed. bought new door speakers as well only to discover a good set of kenwood speakers already in doors. all helps to pass a few hours these long cold evenings. :D :D :D

Wired side reflectors to clear also and totally agree with changing the bulbs to white. Where can you get those? is it just a matter of popping into Halfords?
thanks
