im just home...we had a mishap outside dundalk with the trailer and a 4x4 rear ending us

the guards sorted us out thankfully ,
I tried to call you but had no reception

Wots going on rs? I live 5 miles outside Dundalk in a bad reception area. Can't imagine you were the whole day out of coverage. This is customer service from 50 years ago and has been closing a lot of businesses over the last few years. Ya can't do that bud!!!
Ps as this has gone public I'd like to share some more facts with my close MX5 friends where I experienced 2 other mishaps with you (did not reach the forum). One; where a friend was looking to buy some goods off you last year and when it came to arranging a date & time for exchange; correspondence suddenly stopped, even after 4 chase emails, to the same address where all previous correspondence went, looking for contact, still wanting to give you custom. Custom was given to mx5parts instead, as nothing was heard from you.

Ya lost me and a few of my buddies as potential customers, purely based on what we've seen happening. You've burned some bridges with a few of us now. Will ya be able to rebuild and come back stronger?

For reference , i was going down to buy a car from steo that needed work for £750 euros but after an accident outside Dundalk , it didnt happen!
Its a hard old life, i missed out , steo missed out , everyone missed out!
Not that it has anything to do with you!

you what ? who are you ? ive never dealt with you ! If you are acting as a spokes person for your friends , why dont you give specifics , can they not talk for themselves ?
I hope you are using the word "FACTS" as loosely as possible!

You have generalised on one instance of a friend but i am keen to hear more about the 2 times YOU have had a mishap with me!

Well , thats quite a generalisation for someone who has never once sent me an email , pm or spoken to me personally!!

lets be clear , 99.9% of the people ive met or dealt with on here have been really nice genuine folks although, there are a few people (very small minority)on this forum that wasted a good ammount of my time looking for:-
1. torsen diffs for £150 less than i had advertised ,
2. looking to straight swap worthless wheels for rollcages,
3. 1/3 off a new mohair hood / free fitting on a hood they supplied or
4. me arranging delivery on items that i stated collection only ,

so rather than waste time reading pm's from those people who werent serious, i decided to respond the genuine enquiries only.I wasnt rude or ignorant , just ignored silly offers or requests where it would cost me to sell something.

There is also 1 person who tried to sell a bolloxed torsen( which i passed comment on) for 3 times the price he bought it for, this was justified as selling at good value to his mx5 buddies ( the people on this very forum).The same person last july was quite happy to slag me off on roadsterireland for my prices etc etc. Go figure , huh ?
I dont think its any great surprise that you are a good buddy with this person and come from the same area ?
So whats your agenda here ?

So if your friends / buddies are one/ some / all of the above , or are friends of the above, its totally understandable and probably not a bad thing that you bought from mx5parts.

Lets swap places for a second... would you give stuff away or offer free fitting on a hood you never supplied ? no..i didnt think so.
Its easy to be critical isnt it ?

Yes , timewasters / tyrekickers / and those looking something really expensive for nothing do exist on public internet forums and if you think they dont then , you need to wake up.

As for rebuilding bridges...Why...you and your buddies, clearly have made you mind up about me without the facts , so no matter what i say or do is futile ?
I would say you are in a very small minority that think so, even possibly one of those that labelled me when i initially joined this forum as a
" a dorty nordy b*****d."

And despite being from the north and my parents being married , i am quite friendly and helpful , giving advice to people even when they arent buying anything from me ,however ,i do not suffer fools easily.

So to you sir , i would kindly ask you to mind your own business.
Its very easy to pass judgement with such a negative slant on someone when you only know half of the story and none of the facts.

fair enough ya had a mishap.
your fone rang grand when i was trying to get in contact with you so to me theres something amiss.
if ya had no coverage i would have just got voicemail but i didn't your phone rang out and one it rang twice and ya hung up.
even a text would have sent in a LOW signal area.
