Hey.. any of you guys in Dublin this week?

I'm getting it hard to sell my latest fundraiser for Chernobyl Children International, so I've dropped the tickets to €35. That's for a 3-course meal with wine, wine-tasting with Tandell wines, and lots of entertainment.

The venue's the Anglers' Rest on the Strawberry Beds - big car-park across the road, lovely views of the river, and a very pretty evening all around. It's on Thursday (7th) - kicking off around 7.30pm.

Spot prizes include wine, brandy, restaurant and beauty vouchers (boys you know you need them....) there's also a stunning nude canvas, commissioned by the artist Jan Gray, which I'm raffling on the night.

All fine in the end... a great night, a lovely crowd, and €2,000 raised for Chernobyl Children International.

I was out at Knockrose Gardens today in Killternan. The owner has a gorgeous bronze Bentley and a very unsual sky-blue Ferrari that he brought to the Cars at the Castle last year. He hopes to make the August 28th too...and has posted up a flier for me. Be nice to get some of the lovely cars that I got last year. There were some beauts from the Vintage Jag lads..
