Why is everyone gone to shit in terms of customer service recently, I sent an email to mx5parts asking if they could do anything about a part i got from them that seems to have failed, That was a week ago have i got a response? NO
Ordered a hood from moss, what did i get? an email - we dont have one and wont have any. (or something very similar in wording, No kind of apology for the fact that they are advertising something on there website that they can not supply (and indeed still are) No mention of whether the money had been charged to my credit card and refunded or what the story was with the money side of things. I sent them an email stating my disappointment Did i get any kind of reply -NO
Got some bulbs for the vecta of aceparts on ebay, they came with 2 wrong bulbs so i emailed the seller, what was his response 'address' that was it!!! so i emailed him my address (which he must have had cause he sent me the wrong stuff in the first place) Got another reply 'sent'. I suppose at least he answered and sorted out the problem which is more than the other 2 above!!!
I work in retail and know for a fact that if i treated my customers like that they wouldn't be coming back.
Bunch of C****

Seems like you're having a bit of bad luck at the moment, Ash. Things like this really p1ss me off...
I'm surprised about MX5parts.....I recently ordered some stuff, and one of the items they sent was for a different model - they responded to my email immediately and said when they received the returned item they would send the correct part (and refund the shipping costs). That was last Thursday, and the parts arrived today. I have seen on their site, that if you post a review, and mention your disappointment, a reply is usually issued.

I found mx5parts to be great from a customer service point of view.
About 6 hours before my car was stolen I ordered a timing belt kit, brake discs, pads, and a service kit for the yellow one.
Obviously as the f***ing scumbags wrote the car off they became surplus to requirements. I phoned them and asked if I could send them back and they said no problem, just asked me to send a cover note with them.
I sent most of the bit's back (the timing belt has just been done on this one and it doesn't need brake discs) but I held on to the service kit 'cause I'll need that shortly. They credited everything to my credit card straight away.
Ring them and you may get a better response.

Though seeing as this thread is a rant about customer service.
Interlink.
What a pack of gobshites.
Last year I ordered a set of alloys for the yellow one. TSW black ice with Yokohama boots. Came to about €750 in all including delivery from the UK (A damn good price). Interlink delivered them a few days later, but there was no-one here so he left them sitting at the side of the house.
Fortunately I found them before some thieving scumbag did.
Last week I ordered a set of Dezent V with Yokohama boots from the same company. I sent them a mail on Tuesday 'cause I hadn't got the wheels or a tracking number and I know they're normally quick to despatch. He replied straight away with a signed delivery docket. The name Gannon was on it, but I don't know any Gannons (apart from the recovery firm who collected the yellow one).
I rang interlink head office and after 20 minutes was no wiser as to where my wheels had been delivered, so she promised to call me back. While I was waiting I looked up the found book and found a Gannon living up the road. I called up but there was no reply. Alloyboy rang me to see why I hadn't got the wheels and started to look into it also. By 5.30 yesterday I'd heard nothing so I looked up the number of the local depot and spent another 40 minutes on the phone. It turns out they did deliver them to that house, 9 doors up on the other side of the road, to people with a completely different name. The man who got them called to my house yesterday morning but I was at work.
It's a happy ending 'cause I got my wheels, but what a pack of donkeys.
Alloyboy were great though, and I'd highly recommend them to anyone in the market for wheels. Dezent V with Yokohama's delivered for €510. It would have cost me more just to put tyres on the old rims (that I didn't like anyway).

Thats some shit service right there for you!
Thing that gets me is that you can say/do whatever you want to and they just don't seem to give a shite.
