Leather care deal for mx5 Ireland OFFER

Postby Fla » Thu, 08 May 2014 8:32 +0000

Hi all,

As some of you may or may not know myself and my mrs run a retail business in Killarney selling horse tack and equipment. A product we have lots of is leather care because of saddles. I'm currently testing a few on my dried out mk1 seats to see which would be best for cars.

Once I know I'll be offering it at trade to members plus postage or I can bring it to runs and meets. Let me know here if it's something anyne would want. Or PM me and I'll look after you.

Hi Fla, that's very nice of you to offer. I've often wondered is there much of a leather production business in Ireland?

Heya,

Not as much as there used to be due to most tack now being made in Asia but there are still many, mainly older men who make harnesses and saddles. There is one shop up the country who still produce full saddles in house.

Interesting to hear. I was looking around a while back for Irish leather belts and boots and so on, couldn't find much.
