Been frequently passing this house in Victoria Cross on my way to work for bout 6 years now.
Around 4 years ago, there appeared an MX5 with NI plates. From memory, was in OK condition. I didn't really taken much notice, since at the time I was driving a race tractor. That car was parked beside the house and in 4 years has not moved.
This is what it looks like now:

Bit of a pity...
I haven't inspected the car any closer, might be a gem or a total basket case.

I know of a car near where I live and all I can see poking out of a shed is a corner of the back end, been there for years, the property seems abandoned except for three big bloody guard dogs..I've tried contacting the owners but no joy..Gonna try to get a picture,99% sure it's a 5, but did not get close enough to confirm..

Yeah, I'll try and find out more about it. May have some good parts on it (if not a driver). It does have them style bars fitted. Who knows, could have a nice diff too.

Talked to the owner today, had a better look at the car. It's in pretty bad shape, the rust on the quarters is extensive, he also said that the sills are the same.

Inside, was like a jungle, the steering wheel was green, furry (not joking), newspaper used to protect the cloth seats from the rain, all brown. The interior full of red accents, door cards, central console (not the special edition red, just red)

The guy said he just want to brake it for parts. He said that the engine, gearbox are ok. Although haven't seen in running. The only good things that I could see was the style bar and possibly the alloys. Tyres seems ok, but 3-4 years old.

I asked what he wanted for it, he said 450. Seems a bit steep considering it might have to be towed, if not, would have to wear a wetsuit driving this thing.

If anyone has any interes, pm me, I'll let you know where it is exactly.
