Re: Im backWelcome back, I'm back too (although I normally lurk in the background anyway). Picked up a MKII RS last week and had a few bits done by Robert over the past few days - top bloke!

Re: Im backYeah was up and running good . Decided to go with charge cooler but a weld failed and the engine hyd locked bending a rod . So all stripped and took the oportunity to put a recon front subframe in . Still at that stage as time at a premium . Will be interesting tho.
spec is charge cooled RS mk2 engine @ 9.5 comp ratio on link ecu . Turbo is td04hl 16t on custom manifold and exhaust . Turbo has a built in dump valve which is handy . Put in the refurbished RS front subframe and tidied up some piping. Just need the chargecooler water pump relayed and she is ready for tuning. The perfection of a Car's beauty is that nothing should be there for beauty's sake.

Re: Im backIts a charge-cooler lad, water filled. Custom made but a bit of work to plumb in the rads for it, wire the circulation pump etc. Its way over-sized for the application but will allow me to fit a much bigger turbo later on and still keep inlet temps low.
