Hello everyone
I'm planning on going to Waterford City next weekend (the wife is attending a conference) and I'm bringing the mx5 . I'll be there on Friday night ,all day Saturday and coming back on Sunday . My question is this; can anybody suggest a good driving route for me on the Saturday as I'm doing nothing all day. I did the same thing a couple of years ago but for cork and I got a great route from Paulc (thanks again Paul)
Thanks in advance
Brian

If you do the above, swing up to Lismore and go do "The Vee" : http://goo.gl/maps/DfY4s

From Lismore, go north : http://goo.gl/maps/UAYAg

A route might be to do the Vee (north from Lismore to Clogheen). Turn east at Clogheen and head towards Newcastle moving on
towards Dungarvan. Then take the coast road back from Dungarvan back towards Tramore and Waterford.

Hello all
I've done this trip last weekend in the 5 in the blistering sunshine!
Went from Waterford to Passege east to Dunmore east to Tramore to Dungarvan on the coast road R 675.
Fantastic drives and great villages . The R675 from Tramore to dungarvan is really great, good surface, narrow allmost empty and twisty ! It must have some of the best coastal senery in the country ,do yourself a favour and get down to it in your 5 as soon as you can ,you wont regret it ,thanks for the route 93 mk1 !
Didnt get as far as the vee ......next time
Brian

Great stuff Brian. The fine weather always helps ! As you say, you can use the Vee as an excuse to come back and do more !!
