Rust

Bit of a bubble on the wing, I knew it was there but it didn't bother me until my son pointed it out again. So in the back of my mind I knew I should have left it alone, but having nothing to do tonight I decided I'll pick out the bubble and dab it with kurust and touch it up with a pencil brush.... I knew I should have left it alone

So much for a bubble half the size of a finger nail , so treated with kurust, patched with wide vinyl tape, and couple of coats of black enamel, will do for now

Looks good. Did you apply primer before painting it?

Ya, front drivers side, thought I was picking out a bit of rust smaller than a 1cent coin.

Be easier to just replace the panel so... for the amount of effort to repair it. You'll pick up a front wing cheap enough.

Unfortunately I'm suffering the same problem. Years of dirt sitting behind the wheel arch liner has taken its toll. For me its only caused bubbling and from small pinholes that broke through.
Id advise everyone to check the arches behind the arch liner. (Full bucket of dirt between the 2 front arches) and underseal the back of the panel after sanding and treating any rust..

The guy who had it before me had a small tip with it and put a second hand wing on it. I was thinking of respraying the car this year due to poor repairs of the rear arches and various dings on passengers side until some idiot put another dent in the door by hitting their door off it in the car park , so I'm thinking what's the point when other drivers don't care , so for now, covering the hole with tape will have to do .
