I picked up a copy of this the other day. A good read actually with some good articles. Anybody else tried it ?

Yes - I've got every issue so far. Quite a good read, and a fair coverage of mk1 - mk4. Also good articles on turbo-ing etc (wonder do BBR provide sponsorship!?)

Out of interest, they have a section on readers rides where you can send in a photo and short bit of detail on your car - i think they are looking for more, so if anyone is interested you might as well give it a go (indeed, now that i mention it, I might just do so myself!).

Yes, there's a large article on BBR in this month's edition. Interesting reading. Those BBR kits are mega money though. ~ £4k for the DIY kit

Much as I'd love one, at that price I've other, much cheaper, bits that I'd like to do (still haven't painted the rear spoiler/boot lid (like I promised myself I would do over the summer, before schools start back), thinking of replacing the wing mirrors, might get a number plate plinth .... And to make matters even more complicated Ray goes and tempts me with those new coilovers..... where does it end!!!!

Feck.... 4k for a turbo.... one could buy a whole car for that money!

Is there an online edition that can be download, to something like a tablet perhaps ?

If you want to save a bit of money, from what I'm reading, gathering up the parts yourself will save money. The ME221 will probably be the biggest individual expense (I think). Choose the turbo itself carefully - personally, I'd hate a turbo that would have major lag. Even with an engine that's not naturally blessed with loads of torque !
As for who is selling complete kits, I see MX5 Parts UK have them for £2K. Flyin' Miata do them too. Google is your friend here !

Ray, I've picked up every copy from Eason (in Athlone). I'll look when I get back to see if there is a digital version available

Go into Google Play app on your tablet or phone. Search for Total MX5 and download the app. Now, you can download any edition digitally @ €4.49 each.

I havent tried this yet but apparently if you joinh a community library you can avail of membership of some app that lets you view hundreds of magazines online for free. plenty of auto related stuff on it. You'd need to go to your local library to find out more
