Posted: Fri, 20 Mar 2020 10:11 +0000The car's having the underbody part of the nct at the weekend so I thought I'd better have a look at it first.
One thing that was bothering me was the thermoplastic steering rack gaitors making a noise when turning the steering, turns out that they weren't tight enough on the tie rods, so I got a pair of universal rubber ones, much better job now.
Also cleaned up some of the oil leaks, whatever about the leaking from under the cylinder head, the leak from the aircon compressor is definitely the worst, I think I might just remove the aircon altogether after it's finished with the nct, another thing I realised is I haven't changed the oil since I got it nearly 4 years ago so nice new oil and filter done as well
