Hi folks, I'm idly thinking of changing my NC for a ND, and I am wondering whether there's much money to be saved by importing a used one from Japan. I'd be thinking of a highish-spec 1.5L.

Has anyone looked at the economics and the practicality?

Haven't ever imported one but have been following a thread on boards, don't seem to be able to add a link but did copy the thread title

Lots of good information there including what Japanese paperwork needed

there is hugh selection of used low mileage ND cars in UK too, would save on handling and transport costs as you could easily drivee it home yourself and the MOT can be transferred directly to an NCT. Save another headache too.
VRT is your biggest enemy.
