lights go up , lights go down

Postby MX5Steve » Thu, 07 Aug 2008 5:31 +0000

I removed my charcoal cannister the other night and hey presto! my lights went loo la........

They wont raise when using the stalk to flash or turn on, but they will raise using the centre switch. The lights are coming on.

I've checked all the connections around the light motor, what else could it be? blown flash to pass diode?

k not totally sure my self but I think it has something to do with filtering the fumes from the intake?.

its not essential and to be honest I think it looks better without it.... 8)

It stores/reburns petrol vapor emmissions from your tank(some of the worst kind).
Don't do it if you park in a garage/smoke ;-)
