Have you seen my wife?
Correct me if im wrong but the rubber is part of the ball joint and holds in the grease. When it splits you leak grease.I dont think the rubber is a separate part.
Cheers.

Thanks for that.I had no idea that it was a separate part.I inspected the new joint and determined that the boot was a permanent fit.Good to know otherwise.
Thanks again.

4 toyo t1r's 195/55/14, woooow, I had Bridgestone pontenza's before 185/60/14 but the toyo's are in a different league. They have mountains of grip, you can really fire the 5 into the corners with composure. Highly recommended.

400 euro from Hanover tyres in Dublin (the distributor) or 240 ish euro from camskills and 50 for fitting and balancing, Is this unpatriotic, codswallop. I love seeing businesses that screwed us for the last few years going to the wall.

Weren't we all told by Mary Harney to shop around…

Discovered a pinhole in the exhaust, the cause of the "fuffing" noise it's been making for ages. Weld in next week.

Gave my 5 as much needed wash late this evening. Was manky with IOM dirt and brake dust fouling me deep dishes.
So, nice hot shampoo wash and silicone wheel seal and buff off for me rims :cyclops:

Forgot to close windows on car yesterday evening.. feckin' downpour at 5 this morning, car interior quite damp now as I try to kick myself in the arse

Hopefully we get another sunny day soon to sort it out :( :(

Stig what's that going up your windscreen?

I rebuilt my turbo the other day. Everything was going great until I found out they supplied the wrong exhaust sealing ring. Had to machine it to size. Fun.

And it didn't solve my smoking problem :)

Is the vent on the driver sides of your camcover going to atmosphere or back to the intake before the turbo?

It's my retro (Ac Cobra Styleeeeeee) rear view mirror - gives the car that old skool retro feel in tandem with my carpeted centre console and extended shift extender and 8 ball!

Ollie, how'd ya manage to have an image of a spare wheel in the rear-view mirror?
I take it it's not from the 5? :P

Driver side? u sure? the driver side cam cover - PCV - catch tank - intake plenum. PAssenger side goes to intake before the turbo.
