Found a couple of old spring spacers in the shed and fit them to the fog light recesses.Gonna run a couple of cold air feeds to the filter.
As an aside I contacted Phil in P5 http://www.performance5.com/ and a full set of sportdrive coilovers for £580 delivered is his best price. If you have a spare couple of grand you get 250bhp from a whacking great turbo. :!: They will do it all in just two days.Oooo so tempting but it is more likely that I will just spend the day changing nappies.

Stuck mesh on to my side skirts, lost one of the mesh bits on the Boyle run.

Also with my extensive knowledge of Mx5's (Yep, that yellow thing is DEFO the dipstick) I got to the bottom of Steve's electrical issue relating to the front spots.

We had an "It's quite elementary Mr Watson   " ........moment!!!!!!!

  :P :P

I'd almost describe it as an "enlightening" moment ... ;-)

So, tellus, is the mesh still stuck on or will I come up with the superglue?

He he, I'm wearing most of the mesh, lol put the adhesive on the mesh, put the mesh down, went under the body to add more adhesive to the body. Got back up and searched and searched for the mesh...............

Eventually found it........stuck to my lower back!

Hey Stig,,

When we look back at some of the roads you brought us down, it's a wonder a lot more than a piece of mesh was lost. We could've lost a car or two in the potholes we encountered.  :alien:

Fitted the hard top back on the car this evening...I reckon it will provide a talking point at the jap-fest on Sunday since I expect most of the other cars to arrive topless!! Will probably remove it at the display area and show it as an "optional" extra  I also collected the "club" banner ,as used on previous occasions, from Ivan today. Will have that displayed prominently on Sunday as well.

John

BTW PJ, you travelling up on Saturday..let me know. Accomodation offer still stands

8 X 7" Steel nails, 10 Self tapper screws, 14 bandaids, 6 bottles of Miller, 500ml of blood, 2L of tears, one roll of sticky tape AND then it stuck ;)
