Where abouts are you? Name your time and place and I'm sure a few people will turn up.

Nyom nom nom!

My 5 is rather negelected at the moment, I've only checked it for damp once or twice over the last week, haven't even started her up!

Filled up my washer bottle a while back and noted it was full of old shite.
So, this evening I got round to whipping it out and cleaning it.

It's very easily removed from the bay, just a 10mm socket is all you need, then disconnect the power and water pipe.
Then, I took out the pump -

The state of it inside....

into a hot sink of soapy water......and a good scrub internally.

Much cleaner now, Image

Refitted it, refilled with fresh clean water and it works a treat and looks so much better. All in all, about 10 mins to do it. :cyclops:

What did you use to scrub the inside?? I tried this earlier in the year but could only get to a small portion of the interior.

That could be very awkward, and embarrasing, if you didn't own one

BTW, Dunno if the washer bottles are dishwasher proof.

I'd say you could pop in it in with your dinner plates Ivan
It looks like good robust plastic.

The sun was shining today, so top down, warm jackets on, beanie hats on, heater on and my little girl Molly as co-pilot!

We have a lovely sunday drive, just the 3 of us, me, Moll and the 5 - it was good to get the car out of the shed!

I had a good productive day, fitted new wheels,( banded steelies, 15x8's and 15x9's), set up the height on the coilovers properly, rolled all the arches, modified and fitted a splitter from a mk3 golf, stuck on some anti jap stickers and cleaned it!
