new cd player???

hii all
got a new sony cd player fron halfords yesterday and all the conversion kit , have that working but unsure about the new dash layout eg the big gaps , any ideas how to fix this ????

do you have a double din currently?
if so, you'll need a cubby like this to take up the space like these -
