Just checking in before I go to bed, got back just after 6 this evening after what can only be described as a superb weekend, great to see old friends and make new ones. Excellent choice of routes by Steve as always. Can't wait to see some of the pics and videos from the weekend. Ash

Fab weekend! Couldn't have had better weather/roads/company! 15 cars both days (about 6 "changed over" on Sunday), Octane's cars and coffee w/3 wheel Grimmald(?), clutch slave change inpromptu tech day, Fergus's boot being jump started, Louisberg to Lenane, Lenane to Cong, the "lost" group having to divert as road closed due to flames, the Jetson's car, John M's shorts (Legend), still trying to figure out how I used just 24litres of petrol on Saturday?!?

Just a note to thank you all for a fab weekend, Sat really couldn't have been any better and Sun was great fun too. I'll confess now that on Friday night I was saying to Teena that I wasn't sure if I would drive but might ride with her instead as I had never done anything like this before....what a lightweight...and I am SO glad I took the plunge . Been bitten by the bug now. Thank you for showing me what the car can do, fixing my key and making my radio work ! It was great to meet you all, a fantastic bunch of people and beautiful cars. It's hard to believe that just over a week ago, I didn't even know you all existed. Hope to see you again soon. K

Hi Everyone, An update on the fund raising for Special Olympics Ireland. I am not going to give names but those who generously raised funds will recognise their contribution. The total so far is; My Charity .ie website = €200.00 300.00 192.00 150.00 120.00 50.00 €1,012.00There are still a couple of sponsorship cards out and if you have raised some sponsorship I'd appreciate it if you could send it to me at your earliest convenience. The money that I have received will be given to SOI on Saturday and anything else that arrives after that will be given to them on receipt. Once again, on my own behalf and on behalf of Special Olympics Ireland a very sincere thank you to those who have raised funds. Again, thanks to Steve for making the Galway Run available as the charity run. Tom 2010 Special Olympics Ireland Games, 9-13th JuneFor further information please visit: www.specialolympics.ie

Hi all,
Handed over the money to SOI and they were over the moon and really appeciative of your efforts and were surprised to have received that amount.
Once again a big, big thank you to all those who raised funds.
The Games got off to a fantastic start on Wednesday evening with a fantastic Opening Ceremony and nights entertainment headlined by the Cranberries. After divisioning on Thursday the real competition gets underway Friday, Saturday and Sunday. You wouldn't believe the atmosphere around University of Limerick and to watch some of the competitiors efforts it would really pull on your heart strings. If your in and around Limerick over the weekend drop in to UL and Share the Feeling.
Mile biochas, Tom
