What did you do to your MX5 today ?

out of the garage at 8am and washed, ready for the local parade. going like a dream after 6 months in hibernation. back on the road on 1st of april.

Ah, so you paraded it on a trailer..or your parade was off the public road?? Wouldn't it be a bummer if a Garda was to spot your car in front of the reviewing stand and write a ticket :mrgreen:

Mind you, I've been to a few vintage/classic and tractor runs ...the majority of vehicles there didn't have the necessary displayed either!!

road was closed, so i was able to drive and my house is on the route so i was ok.

I've washed and waxed:

(Sorry because the shots aren't quite good, I took with my pocket camera)

Washed with 1Z and wool glove

Waxed with Dodoo Juice Orange Chush (I love this wax, is really easy to put on and put off, and shines very natural)

I finished the tyres with Mother's, I like it, because is not too shiny, it looks natural and clean.

And this is the result:

Good to be back! Got a job, got a battery, now all I need is an nct and insurance and I'm good to go. I also have to replace the bonnet release cable.

Put a set of Magnecor KV85 plug leads on. Throttle responce much better and no more annoying lag low down . Expensive but worth it.
