hows it going lads, im no mechanical genius but took my recent purchase for a service the other day and im having a bit of troube with my diff. im looking around for a second hand one or a new one but all i can seem to come across is an LSD. What is this and what effect will it have on my car? or am i better off trying to find a standard diff. ?

To be honest not much for daily driving. You sure it's the diff. Would be rare enough for a 1.8 to break unless your boosted

LSD DIFFERENCE.........If you drive like an oul wan........no difference . If your happy to hang the arse out and able to keep it there, a huge difference.

The 5 handles much better with an LSD . But, if your not confidant hanging the tail out on the slippy stuff..............dont bother.
