Hello Goseatonio, Estelle and I took our MX-5 to Spain last year. A person helped us find fuel when we were nearly pushing! We would love to meet with you and your friends to offer you the same kindness that we received. We live on the North Coast near Portballintrae and it will be our pleasure to show you around our part of Ireland.

Looking at your map, one section I would change is the section from Limerick to Galway. It's a pretty boring main road. But if you go to the coast of Clare you could take in the Burren, the cliffs of Moher and a nice coastal drive that will lead into Galway. If you have the time that is. The Connemarra region near Galway would be worth checking out also as it is quite scenic. The main roads between towns and cities will not be as scenic !

Hi 93Mk1,
Thank you very much, we'll follow your suggestions, nobody better than people of this forum to ask for advice!
As Xpuerto said, the map only shows "sleeping places", but the route between will be different, also we're searching for things to do, places to go, what to eat and drink...

After you get off the ferry and when you reach Waterford, take the signs/route for Tramore. There is a very nice coastal road between Tramore and Dungarvan, known as the "Copper Coast". The road has great sea views and some nice curves....perfect for an MX-5 !

Thank you for the suggestion! But after arriving to Rosslare, we're going to Dublin, (we will route arroun Ireland in counterclockwise direction) so we'll follow your suggested route the last day, when going from Cork to Waterford. Thanks!

Hi , I'm on holidays while you're in Ireland so I'll organise an evening run while you're in Dublin ( 7th & 8th?)...You interested?? The 8th would probably be the best option John

An evening tour? That sounds interesting, if it includes some pints...
