Picked up a used intake manifold from zagadka (thanks again!) :

I have a thermal gasket sitting here for ages which I've been meaning to fit so decided to take the opportunity to tidy up the manifold.

Before (the inside was thick with sooty oil) :

Before + after pics :

(yes... the gasket is on backwards ;-) )

Now I just need to find time/the weather to swop it in.

Are you getting out biking these days?
Planning to go to the next C&C, might see you there, love the sound of the SC.

Careful now Ger!

hey John, I'd rather take my chances in the mountains than on the road any day.
How is the house coming along, have you settled in yet?

Hi Ger,

Yes, should be at next C&C since its taxed. I get out m biking once a week, went out on the road bike today - boring except for a argument with a few car drivers cutting close to us cos we were cycling 'double file'. M Bike is so much safer than the road.
